“The Soul Care Institute is a two-year journey of a group of peers. Over the course of two years, students will 'come away from the front lines' of their ministries, work, and family life in order to engage in true retreat that is designed to re-fill their souls. This will happen 6 times (approximately once every four months). Each retreat will be filled with wisdom from experienced teachers, time to recover the stillness the soul seeks, and encouragement from spiritual directors and peers.”

Our Director completed this certificate program in 2017 and continues to partner with SCI as a Spiritual Director and volunteers as a member of the Soul Care Team. This course has been a life transforming experience and prepared our Director to share with others Soul Care, Spiritual Direction and Contemplative Living Practices.

Visit this site to learn more about SCI, which has new cohorts beginning February 2019 in Colorado and March 2019 in North Carolina.

“We are a virtual house of prayer for the communities of Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, NC and beyond. We seek to grow in relationship with God and humankind. We attempt to follow a simple, disciplined lifestyle that includes; prayer, study, work, and living in peaceful community. The Rule of Saint Benedict has provided structure for healthy communities over the past 1,480 years. We strive to be true to these ancient rules while applying the principles in modern life to bring peace to the chaotic pace of contemporary society.”
